Shantalla Physio
Hi I’m Neil, Chartered Physiotherapist, lots of experience helping people with a wide range of injuries and conditions. I’m sure most physio ‘About’ sections say that so what makes me a bit different?
Well before going back to study physiotherapy in 2014, I had a variety of jobs; marketing, insurance, pensions, usual office jobs really. I knew for a long time I wanted to be a physio, so to now be in a position helping people on a daily basis… I really appreciate that privilege - I’m incredibly invested and passionate about getting you back to your best.
I guess I’m also a bit more worldly these days (the wrinkles give that away) being married and having a young family, so I get that life is hectic and it’s hard to squeeze in things that can help you improve - I’m not going to overwhelm with you with hundreds of exercise that you don’t have time to do!
In my spare time, I enjoy a bit of running and going to the gym so I’m well placed to help out with any injuries slowing you down or restricting your progress. While playing football is a distant memory, I’m very aware of the demands team sports can put on your body and the injuries associated with that.
And with my office background, I’m very attuned to seeing how maybe your set up at work may be affecting your neck, shoulders, back, elbow, wrist… even your feet. And through my wife’s experience, I really enjoy helping people with any pregnancy related or postpartum issues.
All in all, I love working with people at all stages of their life. Book some time with me or please get in touch if you have any questions.
