Fracture Rehabilitation

Usually as a result of a fall or accident. Often put in a splint or cast for a period of time to allow the bone to heal but can lead to feeling stiff and weak around the area.

Fractured hand or thumb

Often as result of a trip where you put your hand out to break your fall.

Fractured wrist

Can happen with impact falling a fall.

Fractured elbow

Landing on the least padded bit on the back of the elbow can lead to a fracture of the olecranon bone.

Avulsion ankle fracture

Where you sprain your ankle and the force involved causes a ligament to pull a small piece of bone away from where it should be.

Stress fracture

No sudden fall or trip but a build up of training can cause these.

Fractures of other bones

Lots of bones to potentially break in the human body; the ones listed above are the more common ones we see but we can help with recovery from any broken bone.
