Will happen as a result of a fall onto an outstretched hand or if a finger or thumb is bent under high force.

Wrist or hand fracture

Can happen as a result of a fall. Can happen to any of the bones around the area but scaphoid fracture is common one as it's situated at the base of the thumb.
